"No one in my family liked this it had no flavor the only thing that worked out was I made some apples and whip cream to put on top them and then every one ate them. Yak I would not make these and I did add sugar and extra cinnamon to the batter after the first batch still not good."

I used a belgian waffle maker and it worked great. This recipe is definitely a keeper."

"I enjoyed the recipe. Next time I would add a 2 tsp of sugar to the mix or but strusel topping over the waffles to add to the flavor of the cinnamon and nutmeg. I also had to cook the waffles about a minute longer than I normal do but I will make it again!"

"I tried this recipe a couple of days ago. My husband and I just loved it. Yes, the butter must be added last. To fix it I used a whisk and it came out nicely. The applesauce idea sounds interesting. I am losing weight and will substitute applesauce for the butter next time I make it. Overall, this recipe is a huge success."

"I made one change to this recipe. I used 3 Tablespoons applesauce in place of half of the butter called for and it turned out really good. Next time I will try substituting applesauce in place of the entire butter ingredient. I will make this recipe often."

"After reading comments here, we have revised the method to combine all of the dry ingredients first, then the wet ingredients, then stir them together until combined. Changes will be reflected here soon. We apologize for any inconvenience.

"Tried this the other day. Wonderful! I did add the melted butter at the end, so the batter turned out okay. The first time I followed directions and the batter consistency was awful! Apple taste was just right. Will definitely have these again."

"There is a mistake here. You get a crust like consistancy when you mix butter with dry ingredients as this recipe states. You must add the butter after you mix the milk and eggs with the dry ingredients.  Otherwise it is a huge mess!"
