"I'm not sure what I did wrong, but mine had a very obvious green tomato taste. I ended up throwing the entire batch out."

"This is one strange recipe. I can't say it actually tastes like raspberries, but it is really really good. Considering that I was stuck w/ nearly 4 gallons of green tomatoes, this recipe is a true lifesaver. Thanks again! Btw, for those who commented on a similiar recipe about it being too sweet, add 3 tablespoons of lemon juice to rebalance the flavor.

UPDATE: Tried a few batches with black cherry jello. Works quite well, a dark and sweet ruby red."

"This is really good. I yielded 8 cups. Do you think it would be okay to freeze this?"

"I did try the strawberry jello, it is not as good as the raspberry. So I am not going to make any more batches using the strawberry. I really love the raspberry. Will definitely stick to making it the original way."

"This is a great way to use up green tomatoes. I love the taste. You don't even know you are eating green tomatoes. I am thinking about using strawberry gelatin instead of raspberry. I really like the raspberry but my youngest loves strawberry so I think I'm going to try it. LOVE THIS RECIPE!!!!! and it is SO easy!!! :) :)"
