Reviews for All-American Bacon Cheeseburgers
"These were juicy and moist! They grilled up nicely and my kids gobbled them up! I topped mine with cheese and onion and ate it with a toasted bun. I would add salt and pepper to mine next time to ad more flavor."
"These were ok. I guess I like my hamburger meat to be seasoned a little more. I felt like they were lacking in flavor."
"I thought these were very tasty burgers. They do remind me of meatloaf though. Good thing I'm a huge fan of meatloaf!"
"Used 85% lean ground chuck and red wine vinegar instead of cider vinegar. Otherwise followed recipe. They were good. However they tasted more like meatloaf than a burger. I don't think I would make them again unless I had a "hankerin'" for meatloaf"
"Can't say this was the best burger I've had but These were tasty! Based on the reviews I thought I would have problems with them holding together on the grill, but that wasn't an issue for me. I wonder if other people were using previously frozen hamburger? Sometimes that can result in a watery mix... My meat was not previously frozen and I used an 80/20 mix that worked well."
"This recipe is absolutely amazing, best burgers, will definitely be making these again & again!"
"Tried this recipe during the 4th of July weekend, they were fantastic! Now we are planning a cookout and going to use this recipe for our friends. I had to send this one to my sister in Michigan too! Thank you so much!"
"Made these with ground buffalo instead of beef. Super tasty!"
"Made these for Memorial Day and they was a great hit. Everyone loved them"
"These Burgers were amazing!! It has such great flavor! It tasted like a burger that I would get at a restaurant! I'm definitely making these again. I toasted the buns too which added to the flavor."
"This was good; after reading the reviews, I did add an egg and some breadcrumbs and had no trouble with it falling apart. However, it did change the texture - making it more like a meatloaf-texture."
"I made this on the 4th of July, and it was an instant hit! Now, whenerver the family or friends come over to grill and swim, this is my "go to" hamburger recipe. I make the patties about an hour or two ahead, separate them with waxed paper layers, then when we are ready to grill, they are ready! Yummy, juicy, sink your teeth into hamburger!"
"This recipe is wonderful! It is the only BBQ burger recipe that I go to."
"My husband (with almost no cooking experience) made these burgers last night and guess what: They're way better than my usual recipe! Delicious. We'll be making them again soon."
"Awesome! Even the picky eaters loved this!"
"It was a really good cheeseburger."
"We doubled the recipe. Very tasty!"
"My family loved this burger! I was leary of the sugar and vinegar, but these burgers were excellent. They did try to fall apart on the grill, next time I will cook them in the oven under the broiler."
"Never thought sugar in a burger would taste so good, but I must say I followed the instructions with the exception of the cider vinegar (didn't have any) and it turned out great. The first time I made them I had to burner a little high, so they burned but the second time hmmmm umph good :)"
"The recipie was so fast and had an awsome taste!"
"My family loved these burgers. I added an egg but they still fell apart. They have a wonderful flavour so I'll make them again for sure."
"My DH loved these!"
"Made a good burger, but I didn't really taste that much of a difference. May try it again."
"Everyone loved them...my son ate 3."
"These were pretty good. My husband really liked them. I will probably make them again."
"very tasty! my dad said it was the best hamburgers he had in a long time!"
"Everyone loved this burger would make it again"
"This burger had wonderful flavor. It was a big hit with my family. The only downside was that they completely fell apart on the grill. I use my own home-ground chuck so that might have had something to do with it, but next time I will definitely add an egg to help hold it together."
