"These were ok. I guess I like my hamburger meat to be seasoned a little more. I felt like they were lacking in flavor."

"I thought these were very tasty burgers. They do remind me of meatloaf though. Good thing I'm a huge fan of meatloaf!"

"Used 85% lean ground chuck and red wine vinegar instead of cider vinegar. Otherwise followed recipe. They were good. However they tasted more like meatloaf than a burger. I don't think I would make them again unless I had a "hankerin'" for meatloaf"

"Can't say this was the best burger I've had but These were tasty! Based on the reviews I thought I would have problems with them holding together on the grill, but that wasn't an issue for me. I wonder if other people were using previously frozen hamburger? Sometimes that can result in a watery mix... My meat was not previously frozen and I used an 80/20 mix that worked well."

"These Burgers were amazing!! It has such great flavor! It tasted like a burger that I would get at a restaurant! I'm definitely making these again. I toasted the buns too which added to the flavor."

"This was good; after reading the reviews, I did add an egg and some breadcrumbs and had no trouble with it falling apart. However, it did change the texture - making it more like a meatloaf-texture."

"I made this on the 4th of July, and it was an instant hit! Now, whenerver the family or friends come over to grill and swim, this is my "go to" hamburger recipe. I make the patties about an hour or two ahead, separate them with waxed paper layers, then when we are ready to grill, they are ready! Yummy, juicy, sink your teeth into hamburger!"

"Never thought sugar in a burger would taste so good, but I must say I followed the instructions with the exception of the cider vinegar (didn't have any) and it turned out great. The first time I made them I had to burner a little high, so they burned but the second time hmmmm umph good :)"

"This burger had wonderful flavor. It was a big hit with my family. The only downside was that they completely fell apart on the grill. I use my own home-ground chuck so that might have had something to do with it, but next time I will definitely add an egg to help hold it together."
