For a tender white loaf that's a bit moister and denser than other breads, try this simple recipe shared by Jeannine Norder of Eaton Rapids, Michigan. It's equally good whether you use beer of ginger ale.

"This bread is delicious. I just used some beer that was in my fridge, nothing special. It got attacked by my family and then I made another loaf to try measurements for a 2 pound loaf. Turned out perfect.

1 cup warm beer
1 cup warm water
2 3/4 T vegetable oil
4 T sugar
2 t salt
4 c bread flour
3 t active dry yeast
2 T ranch dressing dry mix
Very moist, flavorful bread! This will become a staple at my house!"
