There are so many great things about this recipe from Barbara Moravek of Jay, Florida! Sweet apples, golden raisins, celery, nuts, tuna and a tropical taste of pineapple add up to a simply wonderful salad. And leftovers are as delicious as the first bite. Sometimes Barbara substitutes grapes for the raisins.

"Simple to make. I didn't care for this particular fruit and tuna combination, but that may just be my taste. Perhaps chicken would be better, as another reader mentioned."

"This was a terrific salad. I used chicken instead

of tuna and spread it on rye bread. I got a lot
of compliments from my family."

"This is delicious on whole-grain bread. Next time I will use chicken; a better compliment to the other ingredients."
