Bacon adds flavor to this comforting stovetop supper my mom frequently made when we were growing up. Now I prepare it for my family. It disappears quickly and is budget-pleasing, too, at just 87¢ for each serving. —Kelli Jones Perris, California

I make this same recipe only with elbow macaroni.  Never put in chlli sauce but will try it the next time.  I always use DelMonte Diced tomatoes with jalopenos.  It is really delicious.  Also my recipe calls for adding 1-2 cups shredded cheese at the end of the cooking tme.
