I was prompted to try this recipe when I found the reviews saying they were great. Well, they were! They were a snap to make and tasted great! Try using a spatula to remove the pretzels from the water. The one problem I did have was that the salt would not stick on the pretzels, even with a sprinkling of water. Next time I might try putting the salt on before baking. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend and I will be making this recipe again.

I was so excited when i came across this recipe, my daughter loves pretzels. when we lived in CA we always got them at the mall, now we live in japan she misses our treat. i am so pleased that we can now make these treats together, much more fun :) thank you all so much

These were very tasty. Tastes like the vendors only fresher! I took the advice of another and put the salt on before I baked. Turned out good. Next time I may try putting on pizza sauce. I tripled the recipe as I have a family of 10. Quick and yummy!

These are awesome! Loved letting my bread machine do the work, and then my little boy and I had fun making them into shapes. I brushed them with beaten egg and rolled them in cinnamon/sugar. Can't wait to make them again!

Yum!!!!!!!! I made these this afternoon.....my son and I pigged down three apiece for a snack, and it was all we could do to save a couple for my daughter for when she gets home. I'm already getting requests to make then again from my son. I do think I'll make them smaller and make more of them the next time. Now I'm too full of pretzels to want any dinner!

These were easy and fun to make, it was fun putting them in the water. I made smaller pretzels to make the last longer. My son and his friends loved them. They were just as good the next day when we heated them up. My son is bugging to make them again.

These were good! I put Kosher salt after boiling but before baking so it baked right in.

This is the best homemade soft pretzel recipe I've tried yet! they come out great every time and my kids love them! We've successfully made them into smaller pretzels, too, so that the kids feel like they are getting more pretzels even though they are just smaller =).
