A favorite of young and old, this recipe came from my sister-in-law. It's simple to prepare and delicious. There's no need to keep it warm or cold, so it's perfect for the potluck that has you traveling longer distances. —Kathy Tremel, Earling, Iowa

Fantastic bar. Reminds me of the PayDay Bar. Everyone loves this and I get writers cramp giving out the recipe. It is really great for travel. Don't have to worry about temperature control with this one!! A+

I can follow a recipe really well...especially one this simple. So, I don't know if there is something missing from this recipe or if the wording is off, but when it says to stir the butter and the peanut butter chips until "smooth," that conjurs up images of a thick liquid or slurry consistency. However, when I did this, all I got was a smooth play-doh consistency and I had to keep heating the mixture while I added the marshmallows and s.c. milk in order to get them to melt. It all turned out really well and they tasted great, but I was expecting a more liquid-like consistency during that step.

These are insanely delicious, and a yummy fortifying treat when I feel sluggish. Everyone loves them. I've made them for years.
