“I came up with this rich creamy dip when I had a small amount of canned pumpkin left in the fridge after my holiday baking,” recalls Laurie LaClair of North Richland Hills, Texas. TIP: “It is also great served with sliced pears and apples, or as a spread on zucchini bread or any other nut bread,” Laurie suggests.

I have made this recipe several times to bring to gatherings. But to lower the sugar content I substituted the powdered sugar with Splenda (i'm diabetic). It taste great and I have been asked for the recipe every time by several people. I serve it with green apple slices and gingersnap cookies also.

Cinnamon Wheat Thins taste really good with this dip - as do grapes and other fruits. Very delicious.

Makes a LOT! Had to add confectioner's sugar. Just seemed to be missing something otherwise.

Made this for Thanksgiving, and served it with apples & pears. Not too sweet, just right and it makes a large portion so no need to double the recipe (we had 12 at dinner, and there was more than enough dip.) Everyone loved it!!

I took this dip to a Thanksgiving potluck yesterday - it was a great hit! Everyone asked for the recipe! I served it with thin ginger cookies, next time I will try it with fruit.

This recipe is so quick and easy and most of all DELICIOUS. I served it with the apple and pear slices as well as with the gingersnap cookies. Everyone just loved it.

OMG loved the recipe. I work at a nursing home and we do things with the residents in The kitchen. I chose this recipe because it was quick and easy for them to make. The staff and family members all wanted the recipe.
