Maple syrup sweetens these lovely cinnamon buns. I make the dough in my bread machine before popping the rolls in the oven. My husband prefers them warm.Juanita Carlsen, North Bend, Oregon

Big Batch Baked GoodsWe enjoy homemade baked goods for breakfast, but I don’t have time to bake each morning before school. So I devote 1 day a month to making large batches of cinnamon rolls, doughnuts, cream cheese rolls and muffins. I place them in heavy-duty resealable plastic bags labeled with the date. (They freeze for about 2 months.) On busy mornings, it’s a snap to pop a few in the microwave to warm. The kids love the fresh-baked flavor. —Lori T., New London, Texas

I would LOVE to make this recipe but I do not have a bread machine; is there a way to still make it? any suggestions?

I would definitely make these again. However, while this is a nice change of pace, I think I prefer the classic cinnamon roll taste. That may be because I thought there was too strong of a butter taste in the icing to let the maple flavor really shine. I might try unflavored shortening next time. I really liked making mini rolls so each of my three toddlers could have a whole one. They thought that was pretty special :)

This is the best cinnamon roll recipe!! I will never try another one. I do have to bake mine at 350 degrees, but that just might be my oven. I also use a slightly different icing recipe. Thank you so much for this recipe! It will be a family favorite for years to come!

These cinnamon rolls are very good. I would probably use less butter in the filling and icing.

These are amazing...and surprisingly easy to make thanks to the bread machine! My family loves the added touch of maple flavor, and the dough is fresh and yeasty-tasting. Our favorite recipe we've found!
