Born out of a need to rid the fridge of extras, this recipe is flexible. Add more corn to make it sweeter, if you like. You can also spice it up as hot or mild as you want.—David Mills, Indianapolis, Indiana

My entire family loved it. Even my daughter who doesn't like things mixed together.

It was good, but a little dry to me. Maybe I did something wrong. My husband and son loved it.

We loved it ! We just used a whole pkg ( 2 1/4 lbs) of ground chuck. That seemed to work ok for us. Delicious !

Loved how easy this was. Hubby likes it which is always a plus. I made it healthy by substituting fat free refried bean, low fat mozzarella. I used spicy taco seasoning.

Use homemade salsa.

This is a great recipe to fix in a hurry and one in which I usually have most of the ingredients on hand. I used corn tortillas and cut them to fit two complete layers. Also, this can be prepared ahead of time and put in the oven later! I will certainly be making this again because it was a big hit!

Used ground turkey instead of beef. Sauted diced onion, bell peppers & mushrooms w/ meat. Delicious recipe!! Will definitely make again!

This has become my husbands favorite dish. I omit all the "optional" ingredients. I also buy 6 inch flour tortillas and use 3 stacked on top of one another for one layer. My dish is a good size for this. I also like to use extra salsa mixed with the beans.
