Ham and Cheese Puffs Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 package (2-1/2 ounces) thinly sliced deli ham, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tube (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls

Directions

  • In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients; set aside. Divide crescent dough into 24 portions. Press into greased miniature muffin cups.
  • Spoon 1 tablespoon ham mixture into each cup. Bake at 350° for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown. Yield: 2 dozen.

Nutritional Facts 1 serving (2 each) equals 110 calories, 6 g fat (2 g saturated fat), 25 mg cholesterol, 263 mg sodium, 8 g carbohydrate, trace fiber, 4 g protein.

THESE ARE GREAT. I DIVIDE DOUGH IN HALVES INSTEAD OF THIRDS AND ADD MORE FILLING THEN COOK LONGER FOR A HEARTY APPETIZER OR MAIN DISH. THE TASTE IS HEAVENLY.JANE KATIE
