This is a refreshing punch that isn't as sweet as most. My family loves the tart "wake-me-up" flavor. As an added bonus, this punch won't stain carpeting the way a red punch would! —Cindy Steffen, Cedarburg, Wisconsin

I've made ice rings before using juice instead of water for the exact reason that was mentioned in the reviews. They seem to break easier when they are used with juice. Does anyone have and ideas for them not breaking? I believe that is the reason to use water.

How about getting 3 liters of ginger ale and using that to freeze for the ring Or even plain old 7 up or sprite.

The same thought occured to me about using the juice instead of water, but then I realized it would be hard to see the fruit in the ring. Maybe use water for the initial freezing so the fruit is visible, then fill the ring with juice for the second freezing. Sounds like a really good recipe!

Rather than use water to make the ice mold, why not use some of the juice instead. That would keep the punch from becoming watered down. Other than that it sounds like a GREAT punch for almost any occassion. Thanks for the recipe!
