Fudge Brownies Recipe

Fudge Brownies RecipePhoto by: Taste of Home Fudge Brownies Recipe Rating 5

There's no brownie recipe or mix I've ever tried that's better than this! It's so easy besides—you can mix it in one bowl in just a few minutes. My husband's grandmother passed the recipe on; now our son makes these brownies for after-school snacks. We have four children. My husband's a dairy farmer, and I'm involved in helping to advise a 4-H club.

Tip

Substitute for Nuts

If your family loves the crunch of nuts in brownies and chocolate chip cookies, but someone is allergic to them, add granola or crisp rice cereal in the same amounts as the nuts called for in your recipes. But, always check the granola or cereal packages for nut allergy alerts to be certain.

Pretty good. A bit flour-y in my opinion, but everyone loved them. I used chopped pecans and it worked out nicely. Happy to have a brownie recipe I can make from scratch :).

I've used this Fudge Brownie receipe since I received my first Taste of Home dessert book many years ago. It the only receipe that I will use when making Brownies. Yummy, it's the BEST!

Excellent texture and so easy. I reduced sugar to 1 1/2 cup and it was still sweet enough. Definitely a keeper.

A great recipe, so easy, and makes a big batch for everyone! I added a layer of raspberry filling and they were wonderful.

Great recipe! Moist and delicious! Didn't add nuts as my children are not fans. Will definitely make again! Thanks.
