Creepy Crawly Cupcakes Recipe
  • Prep: 30 min. Bake: 20 min. + cooling
  • Yield: 24 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1 package chocolate cake mix (regular size)
  • 1 can (16 ounces) chocolate frosting
  • 20 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 24 gummy worms, halved

Directions

  • Prepare and bake cake batter according to package directions for cupcakes. Cool completely.
  • Set aside 1 tablespoon frosting. Frost cupcakes with remaining frosting; dip each into crushed cookies. Place a dab of the reserved frosting on the cut end of each worm half; place two on each cupcake. Yield: 2 dozen.

Nutritional Facts 1 cupcake equals 282 calories, 12 g fat (3 g saturated fat), 26 mg cholesterol, 266 mg sodium, 42 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 2 g protein.

Made these for my 6th grade sons class party and the older kids just loved them! They were easy and quick to make. I will definitely make them again!

I have made these for 3 years now for my sons halloween party at school. My youngest is to old for school parties now but I am still making them for home, they love them!

I thought these were the cutest cupcakes! I made them for my son's preschool halloween party. The only only thing I did different is I made my own frosting. Thanx!
