Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 cup finely shredded cheese
  • 2 1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • 3/4 cup milk

Directions

  • Cut shortening into flour with pastry blender; add cheese and gradually stir in milk. Knead lightly. Turn out onto floured board; roll to 1/2" thickness. Cut into small biscuits. Place on greased baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 425 degrees. Yield: serves 0
