Ingredients
Cake:
2 sticks margarine
1/2 cup crisco shortening
3 cups granulated sugar
5 eggs, well beaten
3 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon each: coconut extract, rum extract, butter extract, lemon extract and vanilla extract
Glaze:
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon each: coconut extract, rum extract, butter extract, lemon extract and vanilla extract
Directions
For cake:
Cream the margarine and the sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs and mix well. Combine the flour and baking powder. Alternately add the flour and milk to the creamed mixture. Stir in extracts. Pour into a greased and floured bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 - 2 hours, or until cake tester comes out clean. Glaze while warm.
For glaze:
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir until sugar dissolves. Immediately pour over warm cake. Cool completely before removing from the pan.
