  • 1 recipe Basic Sweet Dough
  • 1 recipe Chocolate Lover's, Cinnamon Nut or Fruity Cream Cheese Filling (recipes also in Recipe Finder)

I found the dough to be a bit too dry. I might try it again and add a glaze over top. The dough's flavor was good and I made the chocolate filling which was also good. Just a bit too dry for my taste!

i use this recipe in my advanced foods class. it is one that we can actually prepare in 55 minutes and then bake. My students love it!

Have not tried it. It's to pretty to eat. I love the way she says to do it! Just exactly. ah! She makes it sound simple, it is! pickup2

Does this recipe freeze once it's completed? My mother always makes a coffee cake for Christmas morning, but freezes it ahead of time to cut back on chaos, and I'm looking for a recipe that will work the same way.
