My grandmother brought this recipe with her from Scotland. I like to make it for church suppers and picnics.

Too many noodles for a 13x9 inch pan. Sort of bland.

made some changes.cooked the meat then drained it. i had to add many seasonings to make it taste right. this is a basic bolognese sauce. on top of that i needed to add Prego sauce to the seasoning. I also added sherry. seasonings i added were oregano, thyme, pepper, garlic, parsley and bay.

Enjoyed this casserole very much. I too, after reading the other reviews, added additional liquid, but I used an individual serving can of V8. I will definitely be making this again.

This is a great recipe with lots of flavor!! I did add 1/2 cup extra water as suggested since I'd had bad luck with a similar recipe being dry. Fantastic!!

This has a ton of flavor for a basic recipe! We'll definitely be making this one again!

I didn't think it was dry at all. I did add in more veggies with the onion though-garlic, green bell pepper a tomato, etc.

This recipe was a hit with my family. I did add a half cup of water to the meat mixture to make it a little soupier. It really tasted wonderful.
