Aunt Frances' Lemonade Recipe

My sister and I spent a week each summer with Aunt Frances, who always had this thirst-quenching lemonade in a stoneware crock in the refrigerator. It tastes so much like fresh citrus. It made such a refreshing drink after a hot day running around the farm. -Debbie Reinhart, New Cumberland, PA.

My kids LOVE this. They often request it .The only suggestion I have, is if you have leftovers remove the slices of fruit. Otherwise the lemonade becomes bitter from the peels.

Well worth the time needed to juice!

My kids often request this recipe. Thank you sooooo much for sharing it. I have found if we don't drink it all I need to remove the slices of fruit. (They make the leftovers taste bitter.) We love this drink.

This lemonade was wonderful! Refreshing, not too tart or lemony. It was delicious and was a huge hit at a recent babyshower I hosted. I highly recommend this recipe!!
