Perfect soft peanut butter cookies. The apple keeps the peanut butter from becoming too overwhelming.

Diced up the apple quite small, used a Granny smith. I added mini chocolate chips to half the batch and these went twice as quick with my gang.

Made these for my family, and they loved them! I was out of peanut butter so I used almond butter instead--gave it a nice different flavor. If you're looking for an easy cookie recipe that's a little unique, I recommend this one! :)

This recipe was soooo good! Super moist, I especially loved the cinnamon in the cookies. The apples were nice touch, i used finely a finely chopped apple instead of grating it. My boyfriend loved them and enjoyed dipping them in a glass of milk. Yum! :))

These cookies are wonderful! I started with 1/4 c butter and 1/4 c shortening rather than all shortening, which worked beautifully. I also chopped the apples into tiny pieces rather than grated. I have definitely added this recipe to my book.

Delicious! Was not sure if the cinnamon was going to taste good with the peanut butter, but the flavors were great together! Will DEFINITELY be making these often!

Next time I would finely chop the apples instead of grating them. Didn't seem to have quite enough apple flavor!
