I can't believe the amount of sugar in this recipe - 3/4 cup to 8 oz cream cheese, then also the bag of toffee bits. That's more sugar than cheese! I would never make it as it currently is written for this reason alone, I don;t care how good it might be.

I doubled this recipe for a large party. When it came to adding the toffee, I only used ONE 8oz bag of Heath English toffee bits and it was more than enough. Used with Granny Smiths - Awesome!

This is definitely a favorite. It is SO good. I leave out the white sugar. And, it is not necessary to use the whole bag of chips. The chips blend into the cream cheese mixture in time.

Wow! I am definitely adding this recipe into my rotation. I am new to making dishes and I have to say this dip was so easy to make! It is Extremely quick! I packed a little in my husband's lunch with some sliced apples, and he said that it looks delicious! I will definitely use this dip for get togethers! It is the perfect recipe for the holidays. I found that it was easier to mix all of the ingredients (excluding the toffee and apples) in a blender (I used my magic bullet) to soften the cream cheese. I also used whipped cream cheese. Then after the mixture was blended well, I added the toffee and a dash of ground cinnamon. Great great recipe!

This dip is fairly sweet. But the apples compliment it very well. Definitely added to my permanent recipe's.

wow, I served this on Christmas Eve --- wow! Everyone loved it. I had a buffet lunch which included xmas cookies/candies and apples/dip. My guests bypassed the cookies/candies and went crazy for the apples and dip. Keeping this recipe and will make often.
