5-Minute Guacamole Recipe

Shared by Sarah Berger of Minneapolis, Minnesota, this smooth avocado mix features fresh salsa for a zesty dip that's excellent on chips.
TOTAL TIME: Prep/Total Time: 5 min. YIELD:6 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 medium ripe avocado, peeled and cubed
  • 1 tablespoon salsa
  • 1 garlic clove, peeled
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  • 1. In a food processor, combine all the ingredients; cover and process until smooth. Transfer to a small bowl; serve immediately. Yield: 3/4 cup.

"I liked the recipe a lot, although I'd add more salsa for a little more zip! A few droops of Cholula sauce ( found in mexican section in your grocery store) is awesome. This is good spread over the top of a quesadilla made with reduced fat cheese & a little of the Cholula sauce sprinkled to taste, yummmm!"

"Hmmm...How about using 2 avacados, 1 tsp of sea salt, juice of 1/2 a lemon or lime,2 tbls. of finely chopped onion and 1 small tomato chopped fine. As a finish, add one or two drops of tabasco. MMMMMMM."

USE: I ROUHLY MASHED AVACADO
1 DICED TOMATO
I DICED SMALL ONION
1/4 CUP CHOPPED FRESH CILANTRO
SEASON THIS WITH NUSALT,GARLIC POWDER & PEPPER TO TASTE
1 TBS. KRAFT OLIVE OIL MAYONNAISE
A COUPLE SQUIRTS OF LIME JUICE
BLEND ALL ITEMS IN A MEDIUM BOWL. SERVE"
