1-2-3 Snack Mix Recipe
Salty and satisfying, this colorful, kid-friendly trail mix provides quick protein and energy by the handful on action-packed summer days, says Sue Sherman in Toledo, Ohio. It's great for long car trips, too!
- 1 package (6.6 ounces) miniature cheddar cheese fish-shaped crackers
- 1 package (5 ounces) dried cranberries
- 1-1/4 cups salted cashews
- 1. In a large bowl, combine the crackers, cranberries and cashews. Store in an airtight container. Yield: 6 cups.
1 serving (1 cup) equals 333 calories, 18 g fat (4 g saturated fat), 9 mg cholesterol, 328 mg sodium, 40 g carbohydrate, 2 g fiber, 8 g protein.
