Meet Carolee Ewell, whose Special Sesame Chicken Salad won 2nd Place in our recent Potluck Pleasers Recipe Contest.
Carolee Ewell, from Santaquin, Utah (near Salt Lake City), is a 2007 Taste of Home Winner from the "Potluck Pleasers" reader recipe contest. Her "Special Sesame Chicken Salad" won praise from the Taste of Home judges.
This meal-in-one recipe features bow tie pasta, cooked chicken, honey roasted peanuts, water chestnuts, fresh baby spinach, mandarin oranges and dried cranberries. It's topped with a vinaigrette made from white wine vinegar, sugar and teriyaki sauce for a different twist.
Carolee appeared on "The Early Show" on CBS on August 28, showing millions of people how to make her contest-winning recipe.
