From the Editor
Let me introduce myself: I’m Barb Schuetz, the new editor of Taste of Home. Although I’m new to the job, I’m not new to Taste of Home magazine. I’ve been on staff for 7 years and have loved every minute!
Like most of you, I’m putting the final touches on my Thanksgiving menu. I’ve included all my family’s favorites but like to try something new each year.
Sweet Potatoes & Apples (p. 97) is one that caught my eye in the Oct/Nov issue. The combination is so delicious and good for you, too! And I think I’ll serve two desserts this year. Pumpkin Pie is a must, but I have to have that luscious Pumpkin Creme Brulee (p. 29). It’s divine!
Speaking of holidays, watch for our festive Dec/Jan issue coming your way soon. It’s brimming with holiday delights from cute candy houses and contest-winning cakes to mouth-watering roasts and savory party appetizers . And you won’t want to miss our all-time favorite Christmas cookies. Yum!
