Zippy Chicken Corn Chowder
In this full-bodied chowder, corn is complemented by a zesty pepper flavor that you can adjust to suit your family’s palate. Serve it with warm rolls and a salad for a completely satisfying meal on a chilly winter day. —Doris Krise, Edwardsburg, Michigan
Cheesy Beef Taco Dip
For a warm, hearty snack with a bit of a kick, try this recipe. It’s a hit with my family, and guests rave about it, too. Ideal for parties, it makes a big potful. The only "utensil" you’ll need to serve it with is a brimming bowl of tortilla chips. —Carol Smith, Sanford, North Carolina
Hearty Chili Mac
Luckily, this recipe makes a lot, since everyone is apt to want another bowl. It freezes well and makes excellent leftovers—if there is any left. Now that I’m a retired farm wife, I enjoy traveling and volunteering. —Fannie Wehmas, Saxon, Wisconsin
