There are a number of ways to find the perfect recipe to suit your needs. If you have a particular ingredient or recipe in mind, simply enter keywords in the Search box at the top of any page and click "Search."
The search results page will show a list of recipes sorted by relevance. If you prefer, you can re-sort the list by recipe rating, alphabetically or by contest-winning recipes. You can also switch from List view to Gallery View.
Narrow your search using the options on the left side of the list, including Course, Ingredients, Occasion, Special Diets, Cooking Style and more. To view related articles, videos and community recipes, use the additional links on the left side of the list.
Click on the name or image of any recipe to view a Recipe Detail Page that includes a large color photo, nutritional analysis and a variety of tools to make it easy for you to prepare, organize and share Taste of Home recipes. First, there are three options to print: full page, 3x5 or 4x6 dimensions. Simply select the print icon and drop-down menu for the desired size for printing. You can also email a recipe to up to four friends. As a registered member, you can add the recipe to your recipe box and prepare a shopping list for all ingredients needed to make the recipe.
Use the drop-down Recipes menu in the main navigation bar for Advanced Search or to search by Course, Ingredients, Holidays, Publication and more.
The Advanced Search option lets you search by specific ingredients, nutritional needs or preparation time. You can enter ingredients to include or exclude, indicate special diet requirements (diabetic, low fat, low carb), select requirements for total preparation time and preparation method (grilled, baked, slow cooker, etc.).
The Course option lets you quickly browse recipes by courses such as Appetizers, Beverages, Breads, Breakfast & Brunch and more. You can easily narrow your search by choosing sub-categories within each course.
The Ingredients option lets you browse recipes by most-popular ingredients including chicken, beef, pork and pasta, as well as a variety of seasonal ingredients. Again, you can easily narrow your search by choosing sub-categories within each ingredient.
The Holidays option is your fastest way to find recipes for all popular holidays. The most-current holiday is always highlighted with recipes in all courses, along with decorating and entertaining ideas and helpful how-to videos. You can also select upcoming holidays from a monthly listing.
The Publication option gives you the opportunity to browse recipes from specific Taste of Home publications, including Taste of Home, Healthy Cooking, Simple & Delicious, Cooking for 2 and Country Woman.
