- Replace the orange segments with canned mandarin oranges if you like.
- Immediately rinse fresh, uncooked shrimp in cold water. Drained and refrigerated, it should be prepared within a day of purchase. Cooked shrimp can be stored in a sealed bag in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
