Salad for Lunch

I work full-time and often bring a salad for lunch. Before I put my salad fixings into a plastic bowl, I pour dressing in the bottom of the bowl. (I use a little oil and balsamic vinegar.) Then I add my lettuce and other veggies and pop on the lid. At lunch, I mix up a fresh salad without the lettuce being wilted from the dressing. Plus, I only use one bowl, so I don’t have to wash out a small container that held the dressing. This saves cleanup time. —Kathy Witowski, Hanover Park, Illinois
