When baking a cake to feed a crowd, I prepare a regular cake mix but bake it in a jelly roll pan for about 30 minutes. To frost the cake, I beat together one can of prepared frosting, 2 cups confectioners’ sugar and 2 tablespoons milk. It’s delicious and economical. —Jody Vorlander, Lodi, Wisconsin
