Fast Fried Rice for Leftovers

When I have extra rice and leftover meat, such as pork chops, steak or roast, I fix a fast fried rice. Just cook an onion in butter, then add the rice and chopped meat. Season with garlic powder, salt and pepper and cook until everything is heated through. To add some zest, I serve it with picante sauce or taco sauce. —Ginger C., Jonesville, Louisiana
