Herb Chart

Instead of reaching for the salt shaker to season our favorite meals, I turn to a handy herb chart I have taped inside my cabinet door. It’s convenient to use because it lists herbs and the meats/vegetables that go well together. I just review the chart and add a pinch or two of the herb that complements what I’m preparing. When preparing a roast, I rub the herbs over the meat before baking or cooking in the slow cooker. The herbs add wonderful flavor while lowering the sodium. Sherron C., Bryant, Alabama
