Since nobody in my family likes the heels of bread, I store them in our freezer. When I make a meat loaf, I defrost the bread, place it in the bottom of a baking pan and top it with the shaped meat loaf. It absorbs the grease while the meat loaf is baking. Cindy L., Valley Center, California
