Using Proper Measuring Tools for Baking

Using correct measuring tools can help prevent baking flops. Choose glass liquid measuring cups for all liquids. When measuring, place the cup on a level surface so you can view it at eye level. Spoon dry ingredients into a dry measuring cup until it overflows, then level it with a metal spatula or knife. Spoon bulkier ingredients, such as nuts or chocolate chips, into the cup until they're level with the rim.
