How-to Make Two-Tone Chocolate Curls
To create pretty two-toned chocolate curls to garnish a dessert, pour a layer of melted dark chocolate candy coating into a narrow plastic container. Let stand until set. Carefully pour melted milk chocolate candy coating over the dark chocolate candy coating. Let stand until set.
Remove set chocolate block from container. Turn the block on its side so you can see the two different layers. Hold a vegetable peeler against the top edge of the block and carefully bring the blade down the block away from you. Allow the curls to fall onto a plate or a piece of waxed paper. Slide a toothpick or wooden skewer through each curl to carefully lift it onto the dessert and arrange as desired.
