How to Make Cutout Cookies
On a lightly floured surface with a lightly floured rolling pin, roll out chilled dough evenly to the thickness stated in the recipe. Roll from the center to the edges.
Dip cookie cutters in flour, then press into dough. With a large metal spatula, move cookies onto the baking sheet.
Bake as the recipe dictates. Remove cookies from baking sheet with a large metal spatula. Cool on wire racks. Cool completely before frosting and/or storing.
