Dipping Cookies in Chocolate
Melt the chocolate chips, baking chocolate or candy coating according to recipe directions. If necessary, transfer the chocolate to a narrow container.
Dip cookie partway into chocolate and scrape bottom of the cookie across the edge of the container to remove excess chocolate. Place on a baking sheet lined with waxed paper and allow to set at room temperature.
Toward the end of the process, when the chocolate is running low, it might be necessary to spoon the chocolate over the cookies. If chocolate cools too much to coat the cookies properly, rewarm before finishing dipping.
