Labeled Portions

I divide large economy size packages of chicken, ground beef, pork chops, grated cheese, etc. into recipe-size portions for freezing, then wrap them or place them in plastic bags. Then I store these wrapped portions in a larger labeled resealable freezer bag, so each portion can be removed as needed. It saves me time on multiple labeling, provides double packaging and assures better organization of similar foods in one area of the freezer. —Marcia Friedline, La Crosse, Wisconsin
