Planning a Child's Birthday Party
Hosting a child's birthday party at home doesn't have to be a bear! Here are some tips to make your party a success:
Purchase invitations. Or make your own by using festive paper and a cookie cutter.
Plan on having the party last for 1-1/2 to 2 hours. Make it clear on the invitation if lunch or just dessert will be served so parents can feed their kids accordingly beforehand.
Kids love to be involved, so have them help with the invitations, whether it be addressing them, stuffing them or simply putting them in the mailbox.
Don't forget decorations like balloons, party hats and streamers.
Get the party going with games.
For party favors, hand out treat bags filled with a snack mix or gummy bears.
