Looking for more ways to use up apples? Turn them into one of these "a-peeling" desserts for two.
- To make baked apples, core each apple and stuff with brown sugar, cinnamon and butter. Place in a baking dish with a little water and bake until apples are tender.
- Fry apple slices in a greased skillet until tender. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
- Blend a package of cream cheese with brown sugar and vanilla to taste. Serve as a dip with crisp apple slices. Or serve apple slices with a store-bought caramel dip.
