Reheating Coffee Cakes-1

A fresh-from-the-oven coffee cake is a real delight. But it's not always possible to make it first thing in the morning. To recapture that comforting flavor, you can warm individual pieces in the microwave at 50% power, checking at 20- to 30-second intervals to see if it is warm. Let it stand before indulging, as the icing may be very hot. To reheat in the oven or toaster oven, wrap an unfrosted coffee cake in foil. Reheat at 350° for a few minutes or until warm to the touch.
