Make Your Own Herb Butter

Herb butters like those served in restaurants are easy to make, and they freeze well. Simply combine 1 tablespoon of minced fresh herbs with 1/2 cup softened butter or margarine. Spoon the mixture onto a piece of plastic wrap, roll into a log and freeze until ready to use. Slice off a tablespoon or so of the butter to serve with cooked vegetables, chicken, fish, warm biscuits or rolls.
