Kneading Dough With A Stand Mixer

For less of an arm workout when kneading dough, try using a stand mixer with a dough hook. Knead on low speed for 3 minutes, or until it clings to the hook and cleans the sides of the bowl. Continue to knead the dough 3-4 minutes longer, or until it's smooth and elastic. Check it often to prevent overmixing, which can result in hard, doughy bread.
