Get the most out of your FREE Taste of Home recipe box by reading about the newest features below. It’s easy, just ‘Join’ the site and start saving all your favorite recipes today. You can then organize them into folders, customize with a personal note and share with friends via email, Facebook and Twitter. Visit your Recipe Box >

1. Make Folders & Subfolders

Organizing your recipes in folders is a snap – just click on the Create New Folder link under My Tools in the sidebar. We've started you off with a few of our favorite categories, but feel free to rename, delete and add your own!

2. Add & Remove Recipes From Folders

Better organize your recipes by adding them into new folders or removing them from existing folders. Within each folder, you can do this by using the toolbar located under the recipe display and clicking Add to Folder or Remove. You can easily see which folders a recipe is currently in next to the recipe image.

3. Delete Folders

No longer want a folder or subfolder, simply click the [x] next to the folder name under My Recipe Folders.

You will then be asked to confirm the deletion of the folder and you will have the option to remove all the recipes in that folder from other folders as well.

4. Add Notes

Did you add more cheese, swap out ingredients, get rave reviews at a potluck…add a note to the recipe for all the things you did to make the recipe your own! Simply click Add Note in the toolbar under the recipe.

Once you’ve clicked add note, an entry field will pop up for you to add your recipe notes. Then click the save button to save your changes.

5. Add Personal Recipes

Have your own recipes or a recipe from a friend that you want to keep organized! It’s simple to add your own recipes by clicking on the Add Personal Recipe link under My Tools.

You can add everything from the quantity served to images of your recipe and even submit it for publication!

6. Rating Recipes

Tried a new recipe or found an old favorite…click Rate Recipe under the recipe listing to tell others what you thought about the recipe. Then easily view other member’s average rating along with your own personal rating within your recipe box.

Click on the stars to rate the recipe and write a review.

7. Easily Share Your Favorite Recipes

Don't keep your favorites to yourself! Click Email or Share on the toolbar located under the recipe display to easily Email the recipe to your friends or post the recipe on Facebook or Twitter.

8. Add Website Recipes

Now you can save all your favorite recipes from any website in one recipe box! All you need to do is click the Add Website Recipe link under My Tools and copy and paste the recipe’s URL. We’ll pull in the recipe name — you can even select a photo!
