Creamy Chicken Casserole Tips

Can you put a cracker topping on creamy chicken casserole?

Absolutely! If you're looking for a little extra texture and crunch to your casserole, we recommend using crushed saltine or butter crackers. Make sure to add them during the last 10-15 minutes of baking to avoid burning them. If you're feeling adventurous, make your own crackers to use for the topping!

How can I make this creamy chicken casserole my own?

We love the addition of fresh herbs to this creamy chicken casserole. Rosemary or thyme would be fantastic! You can also play around with what pasta you add. Don’t have egg noodles on hand? A shorter, flatter noodle such as farfalle would work well, too. Just note that it may require a few extra minutes of cook time. Check out this ultimate guide to pasta shapes for more inspiration.
