Generally, you can mix 1 round teaspoon of espresso powder with 6 ounces hot or boiling water to yield one 6-ounce cup of instant espresso. You can also use strongly brewed coffee to make chocolate espresso martinis, if you wish. Either way, espresso powder or coffee truly bump up the flavor of chocolate—it's a great
secret ingredient for chocolate desserts.
How can you make a chocolate espresso martini your own?
You can always play up the proportions in this martini, according to your tastes. Like a little more coffee flavor? Increase the brewed espresso to 1 ounce, and decrease the chocolate liqueur by 1/2 ounce. Like a little more vanilla flavor? Increase the vanilla vodka to 1 ounce and, similarly, decrease the chocolate liqueur accordingly.
