You'll knock their socks off with this easy-to-prep side dish that's absolutely delicious. My favorite time to make it is when the zucchini is fresh out of the garden. —Sandi Guettler, Bay City, Michigan

This was just ok. The flavors to me were pretty bland and too much tomato.

This is so easy to make and really tastes great. So glad to have found another great recipe for all the zucchini our garden is producing this year.

Made it for the first time and found it very easy, took it to a pot luck and it was gone in seconds. Really Menicki.. Not everyone is unsure of their cooking. I often take something for the first time to a potluck or I've even tried out some thing new to friends. So far so good.:)

I have made this a couple of time and it is good. either as directed or by adding sausage and cheese to make it a full meal to go with a salad. What I can't understand is how someone could say, "I made this last night for the first time and served it to company" I would never fix something for the first time to serve company, unless they just happened to drop in unexpectedly and ate with me.I would want to know what the meal tasted like before I served it to company. Just my two cents. Nicki

I couldn't find seasoned canned tomatoes so added my own Italian spices to canned tomatoes. Also added a little xxx sharp cheddar to pan right before serving for an extra cheesey flavor. We loved it, will be making it again.

I knew this wouldn't go over well as a side dish, so I tweaked it a bit and turned it into a meal. I added 1/4 lb of crumbled, cooked italian sausage, and I sautee'd the zucchini alongside red bell pepper and white onion. I served over angel hair pasta, topped with the parm cheese and fresh basil from my garden. The husband liked it, and so did I!

We didn't have the can of tomatoes but had a ton of fresh tomatoes from the garden so we threw those in along with some italian spices and it was delicious! We'll definitely be making this one again with all our harvest!

I loved this! So did my zucchini eaters. I could not find Italian Diced Tomatoes labeled as such. I did use garlic and onion and that worked. With zucchini plentiful right now this will be repeated.

I sliced the zucchini into thinner slices-more like you would for fried potatoes. It turned out EXCELLENT. Made according to directions, it makes zucchini taste like a really good homemade spaghetti sauce. My four year old ate this, and asked for MORE!

I MAKE A DISH SIMILAR BUT I USE ROTEL TOMATOES, AND ITALIAN CHEESE BLEND AND OMIT THE GARLIC, AND I ADD GARLIC PEPPER SALT IT'S GOOD STUFF AND SO EASY! ANOTHER IDEA I DO, WHEN TOMATOES ARE PLENTIFUL JUST USE THEM IN PLACE OF THE CANNED ONES.

Tasty! This is very similar to the way I usually make zucchini -the addition of seasoned salt and parmesan was a nice touch. Be careful with the seasoning salt though - I only used about 1/2 teaspoon.
