Zesty Tomato Soup Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (10-3/4 ounces each) condensed tomato soup, undiluted
  • 2-2/3 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • Oyster crackers or shredded Monterey Jack cheese, optional

Directions

  • In a large saucepan, combine the soup, water and chili powder; heat through. Garnish with crackers or cheese if desired. Yield: 4-5 servings.

Nutritional Facts 1 serving (1 cup) equals 43 calories, trace fat (trace saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 369 mg sodium, 9 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 1 g protein.

I didn't make this, nor would I. I can't believe that by adding basically 2 teaspoons of chili powder, that is good enough to make it to the recipe file. Please Taste of Home, at least require a certain level of creativity to be shown before adding a recipe to the website.
