I'VE BEEN a vegetarian for over 20 years and often experiment with flavors compatible to the many vegetables I prepare. My nephew, who lived with me a year while going to graduate school, thought this was one of my best creations. It's not only beautiful, it's delicious and nutritious, too. -Louiza Kemyan, Palm Springs, California

Blander than expected. I used the pepper flakes, but somehow it did not enhance the flavor of the broccoli. Maybe more salt, or garlic? I love broccoli, so will play around with this recipe next time.

It has become a favorite! I make enough to have leftovers which is excellant added in an omelet or frittata the next day.
