"This sweet cake, with its thick frosting and rich chocolate layer, is a big hit at office potlucks," writes Denise VonStein of Shiloh, Ohio. "I have one co-worker who tells everyone it's awful so he can have it all to himself!"

This is one of the most delicious cakes I have ever made. It is very moist; the crisp chocolate layer is an unexpected texture; the frosting is superb. Except for decorating desserts, I had never used white chocolate in recipes before. It really brings out a richness that would otherwise be missing without it. My family has requested it for the next special occasion.

Love this! I've been making it for 10 years. My son requests it on all his birthdays. I am making it for him today! I enjoy that the semi-sweet choc. layer is hard. That's the part of the bite I look forward to!

Mixed feelings about this one. I love what the fudge layer brings to the texture of the cake but it's just little too sweet for my taste. However, if I'm ever craving something super sweet, this will be the recipe I go to.

What a delightful recipe! It had a lot of flavour for something this easy. I typically don't use canned frosting, but wanted to follow the recipe exactly because Taste of Home has never let me down. It was fantastic! Will definitely make again. (Yes, it's very rich so a little goes a long way, which is a good thing when you're feeding a crowd.)

This cake is delicous. Everyone loved it when I brought it to a dinner party. The only problem is the fudge layer gets hard and is difficult to cut through.

It's a bit rich but a hit at our party!

I double the ingredients for the chocolate layer . . . this cake is DELICIOUS!

This cake is better than buying a cake from the store. And much cheaper.
